From a small shop to heating leaders

Salameh Group is a well-established Lebanese company founded in 1943 by grandfather Hussein Salameh in the city of Aley, coinciding with Lebanon’s independence.

It started as a small shop for sanitary ware and hardware, and gradually evolved into one of the leading companies in Lebanon in the field of heating systems.
Salameh Group is a family success story spanning for decades, passed down through three generations of craftsmanship, expansion, and development.

Today, it stands as the leading institution in Lebanon in its field, with a continuous vision for growth and technological advancement.

Company History and Development

• 1943: The first shop was established in Aley.

• 1950: Began importing heaters, then started manufacturing heater pipes in a small workshop.

• 1959: Moved to a larger store in the Aley market, expanding operations and increasing imports.

• 1960: A pipe manufacturing factory was established.

• 1974: Son, Melhem Salameh, opened a second branch and began expanded manufacturing.

• Lebanese Civil War (1975–1990): Operations continued despite the challenges.

• Since 1990: The third generation, Ziad and Hussein Melhem Salameh, joined and worked on developing the business and expanding its activities inside and outside Lebanon.

Expansion and Modernization

• 2006: Hussein Salameh began importing from China.

• 2010–2013: Visits to Germany, Italy, and Turkey to import the latest products.

• 2013: Acquired the trademark Salameh Group.

• 2014: Salameh Group got the exclusive agency of Airrex Vola.

• 2024: Airmax was lunched – the sub brand of Airrex Vola.

• 2025: 160P, the smallest Airrex unit, was crafted for small spaces and single rooms.
